Mr. Bonaventura is a cartoon character created in 1917 by the imagination of Sto (Sergio Tofano) and appeared on the pages of the Corriere dei Piccoli for several decades until 1953.

Bonaventura, snowman with a characteristic red tail coat and bowler hat, baggy white pants and the faithful dog dachshund at his side, was the eccentric hero of gay adventures who saw him almost always penniless millionaire beginning and the end.
