Saint Helena is an island located in the central-southern Atlantic Ocean, at 15°55' south latitude and 5°42' west longitude and approximately 1,900 km from the coast of Angola (southern Africa): it constitutes a British Overseas which also includes the Island of Ascension and those of Tristan da Cunha and had this name in honor of Saint Helena of Constantinople.​​
