Manuel Luis Quezon (Baler, August 19, 1878 – Manila, August 1, 1944) was a Filipino politician. He served as president of the Philippines from November 15, 1935 until his death on August 1, 1944. His second term as president was reelected and started on December 31, 1941. He is considered the second president of the Philippines, after Emilio Aguinaldo, whose management has not received any international recognition.
