Watermark: Digit "50" and dense series of wavy horizontal lines
Note: This issue constitutes the last production series of the 50 lire paper cuts.
These "State Notes" were replaced, from 1954, with the new acmonital coins of the same denomination and declared out of circulation in October 1957.
