2020 – ANDORRA 2 Euro 50 Anniv. universal suffrage Unc

In 2020 Andorra issued a commemorative 2 euro coin for the 50th anniversary of universal women's suffrage.
In fact, the women of the Pyrenean principality asked for the right to vote in 1967, obtained it in 1970 and exercised it for the first time in 1971.

The coin features a woman's face whose hair radiates into the field; between the locks there are names of women. Around the drawing, there are the inscriptions 50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENI (“50 years of universal women's suffrage”) and ANDORRA 1970 – 2020.
